Arcacia (also known as the mortal plane) has only just recently sprung up in relative terms. Arcacia was the result of an event only known as "The Rebirth" which is discussed in the holy texts, The Chronicles.
Chronicle I:
Mortal kind once inhabited the Universal Plane. They were smart, resourceful, and plentiful. They invented machines to perform their bidding, they flew in giant metal birds and traveled in mechanical wagons. Mortal kind became arrogant and thirsty for more power, fighting amongst themselves like children. With little regard for the other living beings inhabiting the Universal Plane, they conquered and crushed until there was little left but destruction and ruin. The Goddess Aela reached out to her children, not with scorn, but pity. Purifying fire of holy will sanctified the Plane, destroying it only to be reborn again.
Chronicle II:
Goddess Aela wept at the loss of so many of her children, her creations. Her tears filled the very seas of Arcacia. Our Goddess raised the land, planting seeds of life in every corner of the Plane. She breathed her essence into the nothingness, for her new children would know not war and anguish, but love and peace. Life blossomed in this new land, but without her guidance the Goddess' children would once again fall into the abyss. She left a champion of her will, the Wyre, to spread her word of love.
Chronicle III:
Delighted at her new children who preached only love and brotherhood, Aela once again slumbered, confident that the Wyre would oversee this new world. Though it would not be long before the very essence of her previous fallen children, an essence of hatred and rage, surfaced and materialized into a demon who sought to destroy this new world. This demon ravaged the land killed the new children of Aela, only to be confronted by the Wyre, the very champion of Aela's will. They battled for 3 full years before the light of Aela once again touched the land. Aela sent her champion a spear of piercing light, the ArcWyre. With the power of the ArcWyre the champion was able to fend off this demon and once again restore peace to the Plane. It was appropriately named Arcacia.
Chronicle IV:
Following the battle with the demon of hatred, the Wyre slowly began losing his power, fading once again into the loving hands of Aela. The Goddess swore she would never allow this to happen to her children again. Instead of sending another Wyre, she spread her essence among the very stars of Arcacia to be Incarnated into champions of her will when their time was right. These Incarnates carry the will of Aela within their very souls. Finally, our Goddess could slumber in peace without fear of her children coming to harm. And thus end the chronicles.
Arcacia:
Arcacia is made up mainly of forested, temperate lands and towering cliffs. There are many places of civilization among the mortals and Incarnates alike. These cities and towns are seperated by regions. Each region is governed by the leader of the region's city or village.

Evergreen
Oldusk

Inhabitants:
Mortals: Mortals are human inhabitants of Arcacia. Numerous and intuitive, they are children of Goddess Aela and reflect it in every way. Most are kind-hearted even if it doesn't show on the outside sometimes. A vast majority of Mortals worship their Goddess with reverence, love, and respect. They have made great warriors, inventors, and leaders.
Garashi: The Garashi are a race of hunters and soldiers. Generally violent and stand-offish, they tend to stay away from human civilizations and make their camps along the roads between the cities. Often stereotyped as vicious and dangerous due to the large population of Garashi bandits, most are hard working, honest, and prideful.
Incarnates: The Incarnates are pure embodiment's of Goddess Aela's will. Their souls are brought to Arcacia via Incarnation Shrines created by the Wyre himself. Incarnates are immortal, reappearing shortly after death. Incarnates also have a strong affinity with mana, a natural energy that flows through all of Arcacia. Being able to manipulate this energy gives Incarnates seemingly amazing powers.
Astrites: These cultists worship the fabled demon of the Chronicles and vow to restore the world to it's former glory and take revenge on Aela for re-birthing the Universal Plane, an event that they hold in infamy as a mass genocide and the destruction of an entire culture.
